Enable Auto Backup for Smartphones

The following steps explain how to turn on auto backup and restore to backup content to a Gmail account and restore to an Android device.

1. Open Apps/Applications.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Accounts.
4. Select Backup and reset.
5. Toggle on Back up my data.
6. Select Backup account to choose the Gmail account you want to backup the content to.
7. Toggle on Automatic restore.
   • Content will be restored once the Gmail account is added and the Automatic restore option is enabled.
