Rogers offers multiple options for device pricing and financing so you can choose the one that’s right for you.
Understanding our device pricing tiers and financing options
I’ve chosen the device I want to get. How do I know which device pricing tier and financing option is best for me?
The best deal
Choose to finance a device with a Plus plan to get access to the best promotional credit on a 24-month term. You’ll get up to 250 Mbps or up to 1 Gbps (reduced speeds thereafter) and data that you can share with all devices on your plan. You’ll pay for the discounted cost of your device evenly across 24 months. For example, if your device costs $1,440 and we give you a credit of $400, you’ll pay $1,040 divided by 24 months. This means you’ll pay $43.33 towards the cost of your device per month for 24 months.
Enjoy an even bigger credit by choosing to finance your device with Save & Return on a Plus plan! You’ll get an additional credit on top of your discounted device cost with on a 2-year term. We’ll split the payments evenly across 24 months. For example, if your device costs $1,440, we gave you a discount of $400 and a Save & Return credit of $200. This brings your device cost down to $840. This means, you’ll pay $35.00 towards the cost of your device per month for 24 months. At the end of 2 years, you can decide to return the device to us or pay back the Save & Return credit and keep it.
The basic deal
If Plus plans aren’t for you, we also offer our Entry device financing. You’ll still have access to multiple data plans, but won’t be able to share data across devices on your plan. With this option, you’ll finance your device at full price or a smaller discount. For example, if your device costs $1,440, you’ll pay $60 towards the cost of your device each month for 24 months. After this, your device is yours to keep.
Can I switch to another device pricing and financing tier?
While financing your device, you can’t switch to a different financing tier than the tier on your phone. As an example, if you’re financing your phone on a Plus tier, you won’t be able to switch to an Entry plan until you’ve completely paid off for your device.
