How the Disney+ promotion works

Which plans and packages are eligible for this Disney+ promotion, and who can take advantage of it?

You can check by logging in to MyRogers and going to the Subscriptions section. Once you have an eligible service, you’ll have 90 days to sign up for Disney+ through Rogers. Your promotional period starts the day you subscribe to Disney+ through Rogers, so you must activate your subscription immediately to benefit from the full promotional period.

You can start streaming movies and shows from Disney+ as soon as you finish signing up. 

How many people can use a Disney+ subscription?

Each Disney+ subscription can have up to 7 individual profiles and can be shared between family members across multiple devices. Visit Disney+ support for more details about setting up and managing profiles.

How many devices can I use at the same time to stream Disney+?

You can use up to 4 devices at once to stream content from Disney+, including your Ignite EntertainmentTM box, smartphones and tablets, desktop browsers, game consoles, and smart TVs. Visit Disney+ support for more details about which devices and platforms Disney+ supports.

How do i redeem my Disney+ offer

Once you sign up for an eligible plan or package, we’ll send you an email with instructions about how to sign up for Disney+. You can do this through either your browser or the MyRogers app. Here’s how:

  1. Open the link in your email and sign in to MyRogers. You’ll be taken automatically to the subscription management screen.
  2. Under the Eligible for promotion section, select the phone number or Ignite bundle you want to set up with Disney+, then select Sign up.
  3. Review and accept the terms and conditions on the following screen, then select Subscribe to Disney+.
  4. You will see a confirmation that you’ve redeemed your subscription. Select Continue to go to the next screen to activate it.
  5. On the subscription management screen, look for each service that’s currently subscribed, then select Activate
  6. You’ll then be taken to the Disney+ website to either create a new Disney+ account or link an existing one.

I’m having trouble signing up. What do I do?

First, please make sure you’ve got an eligible Ignite bundle, wireless home internet package or wireless plan. You can check if any of your existing services are eligible by visiting the subscription management page in MyRogers.

Second, the Rogers account holder will receive an email with instructions on how to redeem Disney+ through MyRogers. If you’re the account holder and still don’t see an email with instructions within 24-48 hours after your service has been activated, please check your inbox’s spam folder.

If you’re redeeming the promotion through a wireless phone number, that number will also receive the instructions via text message. However, the account holder is still the only one that can redeem the subscription, so other people on the account will need to contact that person for assistance.

How billing for your Disney+ subscription works

How do I view the details about my subscription?

You can review the start and end dates of your promotion, as well as the cost of your subscription, by going to MyRogers.

If you’re using a browser to access MyRogers, go to the account overview page, scroll down to the “Subscriptions” heading, and then click “Manage” under Disney+.

If you’re using the MyRogers app, select More at the bottom of the screen then select Subscriptions.

How will I know when my Disney+ promotion ends, and what happens after it does?

You can log into MyRogers to confirm the end date of your promotional period.

Once your promotion ends, you’ll automatically be charged a monthly subscription fee for Disney+ unless you cancel your subscription at least 1 day before the end if the promotional period.

Your subscription fee will show up directly on your Rogers bill.

How will I be billed for my Disney+ subscription? Is my Disney+ billing cycle different from my Rogers billing cycle?

Your Disney+ subscription is listed in the Subscriptions section of your Rogers bill. Your Disney+ billing cycle is separate from your Rogers billing cycle. Your Disney+ billing cycle starts on the day you redeem your promotion, and renews each month on the same calendar day.

If I want to pay for Premier Access to watch new releases from Disney+, how will I be charged?

Disney+ will ask for your payment information directly. This charge will not show up on your Rogers bill.

I ordered Ignite TV or Ignite Streaming services before August 4, 2023. Am I still eligible to get access to 6 months of Disney+ on Rogers?

If you ordered your Ignite services and installed before August 4, 2023, you are still eligible to get 6 months of Disney+ on us.  An email would have been sent to you explaining that you’re eligible for 6 months. Your Disney+ subscription will continue to be discounted until month 6.
