TOP QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Rogers Home Phone uses the same, secure Rogers cable lines to deliver your phone service. Simply put, instead of getting your phone service over the telephone company wires, you'll get it through Rogers lines.
If you choose Call Waiting, you will hear a different ring for Long Distance calls whether or not you are on the phone at the time.
Rogers Home Phone is designed to support most types of telephone devices. Because of the wide variety of fax machines, we cannot guarantee full compatibility with every type and there may be circumstances in which failed calls will be experienced. We have a number of potential solutions to meet your needs: If your fax machine shares the same line as your current local landline, you may continue to use it with Rogers Home Phone, although the service is not guaranteed.

If you have a fax machine or modem using a dedicated line, we recommend that you maintain it as a second line for your fax, and install Rogers Home Phone as your primary phone service.
The Extension Mailboxes feature will allow you to have up to three additional mailboxes in the Voice Mail.
Some of the reasons why the caller ID details may not be displayed are listed below:

  • If some calls display as Private Name or Private Number, the caller has intentionally blocked display of his or her number and/or name.
  • The Call Display feature may not be available or may not display correct information for calls made from public, business or cellular telephones, calls placed by operators or some long distance calls.
  • If you are using the Call Forward feature, information about calls initially intended for your line cannot be displayed.
To activate Call Forward – No Answer:

    1. Pick up your telephone, dial * 9 2 and listen for the confirmation tone.
    2. Enter the 10-digit forward-to number.
    3. Hang up your phone. All unanswered calls will be forwarded to the number you assigned.
